DAY 18
Aktivity: Because it was so much fun and it was a grey and rainy day we went to watch a movie again. We went to the Sputnik again to get a second stamp on our discount ticket. The movie of our choice is called "Zwei Leben" which is the German candidate for the Oscars 2014. A very good movie which I would recommend to watch - it's about a not so well known chapter of German history. During the German occupation of Norway from 1940-1945 Norwegian women started having relationships with German soldiers. Some of them had children and some of these children were brought to Germany for the so-called "Lebensborn" project. So, children from Norwegian descent were raised in German children's homes, not knowing who their parents were and that they had Norwegian mothers. Then the wall came and with it the Stasi - (secret police of East Germany) now think about what possibilities these circumstances would mean to install spies in the Western world.... that is what the movie is about, basically. Really unbelievable.
