DAY 8
Aktivity: I actually only went swimming today- which is free for me because I teach my godchild how to swim in return for the ticket.
I have another useful tip to save some money though. There is a possibility to get an annual ticket for the zoo in Berlin for 20,00€. But it's only for certain people, namely people which have a new baby. Check out the zoo-website HERE. An annual ticket costs 60,00€ if you don't have a baby, which is still pretty cheap if you consider that one single adult ticket costs 13,00€.
I have to warn you about the baby-ticket though - I did some math and I came to the conclusion that the savings when you get the baby-ticket is only worth it if you are already having or planning a baby anyways. According to my calculation a baby costs much more than the 40,00€ you would safe on the zoo ticket. But for all new parents and soon to be parents I think it's a great opportunity - you just need to know about it. So, enjoy the zoo and spread the word.
Food:
Breakfast: Müsli with milk (which I still had)
Lunch: Rice pudding (Milchreis) with selfmade apple sauce (Apfelmus - made from the apples which I picked the other day. It's really easy to make: cut the apples in dices, boil them with "some" water and add "some" sugar and then boil for "a while". I am not a big fan of obeying recipes, so I am cooking mainly intuitively, usually it ends good.
Dinner: Pizza from the pizza-shop for 2,00€
I also bought some tangerines, oranges and bananas for a total of 2,10€.
Transportation: Bike
Total spendings today: 4,10€
